26/3/2008 - NEW (QUICKIE) FLASH! Presenting... Diddy Hits That! Inspired by his Classic/AllStars ending in Smash Bros Brawl - which I pre-ordered from Play-Asia and received swiftly after it came out - I felt obligated to make this. It's a quickie one, so don't expect to see it on Newgrounds. More comments can be found on its page. Don't worry, this isn't a signal of things to come; it's just something I made between sessions of Brawl. Speaking of which, Super Smash Bros Brawl is a Nintendo fanboy's wet dream. Seriously, if you own a Wii, and you like any of Nintendo's flagship franchises (and you like beat-em-ups), GET IT NOW!
3/6/2008 - SO HERE'S THE THING... Anyone who has visited this site more than once recently may be wondering why I haven't posted anything in the last 7 months, and I regret to inform you that it's not because I'm dead. Rather, it's because I don't have as much free time as I used to, and so I spend pretty much all my free time playing games or visiting VGDC or Newgrounds. As such, I haven't really done anything worthwhile with the whole 'Goomba Troopa' persona in a while (well, other than accumulate rep on the VGDC forums). However, that doesn't mean I'll never produce anything again. In fact, this University course I'm doing is helping me to develop my skills with Flash and Photoshop, as well as grow new skills with software like Director and Avid Xpress Pro, as well as programming languages like Java. So who knows? I might make something over the summer. (I'm thinking along the lines of 'Shockwave Game', as Director is the only software I've currently used to make games with =P) 'Til I post again! (Which could be sooner or later XP)
12/9/2007 - SINGSTAR NERD So I was reading sceptically through some Uni student magazine I was posted the other day, and some article in it mentioned something about Singstar. And I suddenly thought "There should be a Singstar game for nerds like me", and then I decided to Photoshop together some screenshots for such a game. So I took this pic and did stuff with it. Bear in mind that I've never played any of the Singstar games, but I've tried my best to have these pics somewhat authentic. (Couldn't remove the credits for the second one -_-) What can I say? I was bored! --- In other news, I've finally decided to scrap my flash project, since I took a look at it from a distance and thought "This won't actually be any good". So at some point I'm going to put it into the graveyard. Also, I'm off to Uni this Sunday, so that's something I'm going to have to cope with. Don't worry though, I HAVE an internet connection, so this won't be the end of Goomba Troopa! (Sorry to disappoint you XD)
12/7/2007 - NEW FLASH! Now before you get 'your hopes up', this isn't the big project I've been complaining about. Instead, this is an entry to the VGDC Arnie's Misadventures contest. It is called 'Arnie deos stoopid lolol' as a brief parody of the fact that there may be a LOT of entries to the contest with this formula. More comments can be found here, but I'll say here that this isn't the kind of humour I'm used to, so it may (or may not) be a little off for you. I'm getting varied feedback on it. Anyways, enjoy!
